Trauma, Addiction & Spiritual Growth Support

Relational counselling in Highgate
I am an Integrative Counsellor and my approach is relational. This means I am able to draw from range of therapeutic skills and theoretical tools to enhance the work. It also means that I value and view a good therapeutic relationship as central to the process of change. I work with a full range of issues including, but not limited to: psychosexual issues, spiritual explorations, bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationship diversity, divorce and distress resulting from systemic factors eg. discrimination. Through distress it is possible for greater wisdom and even joy to arise. I invite you to work in partnership with me in uncovering that which will allow greater compassionate connection, meaning and freedom in your relationship with yourself, others and life.

Trauma, addiction, autism, spiritualism
My key areas of focus are trauma, addiction, autism and spiritual matters, all three of which are often combined. I offer warm, non-judgmental counselling, committed to listening, understanding and helping you. I have worked in educational settings with children with Autism, and their parents, since 2003. I have a particular interest in working therapeutically with such parents, who face specific and complex challenges.
Meditation, mindfulness and self-compassion
These simple, skilful practices have many benefits, such as allowing you to put down unhelpful repetitive thoughts, supporting the development of an inner ally and developing deeper present moment awareness.
